I am a new media researcher and lecturer at the University of Oslo, where my research focuses on fact-checking, journalism, and visual epistemology. I am part of the research groups Photofake and HumAIn. I serve on the editorial team of the journal MedieKultur.
Previously, I worked as a journalist and strategic advisor at NRKbeta, the Norwegian public broadcaster's R&D unit, and at Tinius Trust, the owner of Schibsted Media.
I hold an MA in New Media and Digital Culture from the University of Amsterdam. In 2025, I completed a PhD dissertation at the University of Oslo which explores how journalism, through its increasing reliance on eyewitness images, adapts to a fragmented and visually saturated digital information landscape.
